And here we are again. As I had so much fun reading and blogging last time I decided that I would do the same again this weekend. It is already Saturday here but I don't think anyone would mind if I start a bit earlier ;-)
Unfortunately the weather is not that nice today. Still quite warm with around 20 degrees but very cloudy and it looks like it'll start raining soon. That means no reading outside today.. Weather in Victoria is weird in spring. Yesterday we had 31 degrees, today 20 and tomorrow 29 again.. This will be followed by 19 on Monday :D
I got up early today and went to a shopping centre close by because I wanted to buy some new books... Having only 2 unread books at home and not being interested in both of them at the moment is not very convenient when you want to spend the weekend reading :D
Unfortunately I didn't find anything that got my attention and the books I liked to buy were to expensive.. I will go on looking for some ebooks pretty soon :)
The book I am reading today is Steelheart by Mr. Awesome, Brandon Sanderson. I read 82 pages already on the train and while I was having breakfast (a giant banana bread and a chai latte). I am not too much into Superheroes but the book is an easy and interesting read so far and the mysteries and secrets surrounding the epics already got me hooked.
I don't mind the main character, David, so far but Megan is really annoying with her attitude and oh, she's sooo good looking and tough and yes, the author has to mention that she wears her jacket open every second page or so.

I didn't get to read at all! While I was browsing for new ebooks I found one I really wanted to have.. Buuut it wasn't available as an ebook and I couldn't get it anywhere else. Funny thing though.. In Germany I would be able to get it..hmpf.. Anyways, I spent 1-2 hours browsing some more and decided to get 4 new books. They are all or almost all fantasy romances as I feel like it at the moment xD Will introduce them to you later.
After that I started cooking dinner (meat loaf with halloumi filling & potato-pumpkin mash) and when I was just done my partner came home and decided to make ricotta cheese xD (btw, he is a chef/cook and doesn't get annoyed at cooking/baking at home). Right now we are watching a bit of wrestling and we are having dinner soon. Maybe I get to read a bit after that!
Update #2: 20:26
Yayyy, I read some more! So far I read 102 pages of Steelheart and still like it, but I was curious about my new books and started reading The Paper Magician by Charlie N. Holmberg.
It is only short but sounds like a cute little story about a girl who learns how to create magic by using/shaping paper. I am not that far and don't know exactly how the magic works but it sounds promising. Ceony, the female protagonist just arrived at a magician's mansion and is about to start her apprenticeship with him. She's not too happy about it as she finds paper-magic boring and rather wants to learn other kinds of magic. But she has no other choice.. I read about 9% and will continue :)
